Bart and Karen Hajovsky founded BH Genetics in 1998, building on Bart’s prior experience as a dealer and supervisor for a major seed corn company. In that role, he managed a team of three full-time employees and oversaw a sales territory covering approximately a quarter of Texas.
In its early years, BH Genetics focused exclusively on seed corn, serving primarily its home county and surrounding areas. As the company gained momentum through strong performance and growing brand recognition, it expanded into new markets and diversified its offerings to include sorghum.
Today, BH Genetics products are marketed nationwide by a knowledgeable sales and agronomic team. The company remains proudly family-owned and operated, with five members of the Hajovsky family actively involved in its day-to-day operations.
